Theatre Winter Haven Women’s Guild……for 36 years the Guild has raised funds for the theatre. They have co-produced a musical for the past seven seasons and have sponsored and facilitated the Pierrot Party for the past 16 seasons. Through the years they have donated funds for new sound systems, a vertical lift, Roland Keyboard, wireless headsets, computer lighting system, copier, Box Office ticket machine, stage curtains, the renovations of both restrooms in the lobby, and so much more! Opening nights they serve the cake and champagne to our fellow patrons. All funds raised were from selling raffle tickets during two mainstage plays each season. These funds were used to make significant upgrades to the theatre each season.
With the generous donations from Season 48, they were able to co-produce a mainstage production, buy a new refrigerator, stove, and a microwave for the upstairs kitchen, which is used during Theatre Camp, Academy shows, Pierrot Parties, feeding the cast, and used
by Ridge Art. They were also able to purchase a beverage cooler for the wine bar and a portable ticket machine for the Black Box Theatre and off-site use. THE WOMEN’S GUILD IS STILL MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
