Advanced Eyecare Associates

Advanced Eyecare Associates, formerly Fischer, Schemmer, Silbiger, Moraczewski & Breunig, MD PA Ophthalmology Associates, is a long-time supporter of Theatre Winter Haven. The practice was started in 1968 in Winter Haven and now includes six offices in both Polk and Highlands counties and two ambulatory surgery centers. The practice philosophy is to provide the highest quality care, both personal and professional. They believe you should see better and feel better! Having signed on in 2002 as our first co-producers, they have since produced 20 shows including this season’s Barefoot in the Park.

Alan Jay Automotive Network

Alan Jay Automotive Network’s mission is: To serve the residents of Highlands & Hardee counties automotive needs, while also serving as a major partner with the community in which we live. Alan Jay Automotive Network owns and manages 11 automotive dealerships and 15 unique new automobile manufacturers. State-of-the-art service centers are at each location in Central Florida, in addition to three full service collision repair centers. Alan Jay Automotive Network has also co-produced ALMOST, MAINE, ANOTHER NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, and TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE.

The Butz Family Fund of the GiveWell Community Foundation

The Butz Family Fund was founded by George and the late Helen Butz. The Butz family has supported education and the arts including the Friends of the Library and the Symphony Guild. As previous co-producers of several fabulous Theatre Winter Haven shows, they are looking forward to another great Theatre Winter Haven hit. They are honored to be returning as co-producer for Dreamgirls.

George & Kelly Butz

George and Kelly Butz are pleased to continue their support of Theatre Winter Haven. Besides keeping people smiling, Dr. Butz is on the TWH Board of Trustees. Kelly has been involved with many local organizations.  She truly enjoys serving our community. A special love for theater stems from daughter Paige’s musical theater career. They are very proud to sponsor Elf and support such a great organization.

George W. Butz III, DDS, PA

Dr. Butz Dentistry is a steadfast advocate for the local arts community. Dr. Butz’s love for performing arts stems from his daughter Paige’s career as a professional musical theater performer. He is thrilled to support TWH in its efforts to cultivate the next generation of performers. Break a leg (but not a tooth!)

The Dr. Robert Cassell Family

Dr. & Mrs. Robert Cassell became supporters of Theatre Winter Haven shortly after moving to Winter Haven 35 years ago. They started as season ticket holders and soon became donors, later evolving into produers. They are currently co-producing their 17th consecutive summer production. Maryann has also served on the TWH Board of Trustees for many years, including one term as President. They are also supporters and patrons of other live theaters in the area, including Lakeland Community Theater, the Straz Center, and opera companies in St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Orlando. They have 3 sons, Robbie, Bill, and Kevin, all of whom participated in TWH Academy programs. Kevin worked backstage on a number of productions.

“We feel that movies and television can’t come close to the vitality of live theater. Instead of CGI (computer-generated imaging), we prefer BGI (brain-generated imagination) any day.”

The Center for Retina and Macular Disease

The Center for Retina and Macular Disease has been treating patients for over 25 years and has seven Board Certified Physicians. Along with its state-of-the-art facility on Ave K in Winter Haven, the Center also has locations in Lakeland, Haines City, Sebring, Clermont, Zephyrhills and The Villages. The Mrs. William H. Fuller Family

The Mrs. William H. Fuller Family – The community lost one of its dearest members and theatre supporters when we lost Grand Dame, Mrs. William Fuller. Eunie, as we all called her, was a co-producer and angel for many, many years. Her family knows how important Theatre Winter Haven was to her and is to the community, so they have decided to continue the legacy by giving in her memory. They began a new future with Theatre Winter Haven as co-producers of shows including hits such as ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, SISTER ACT, NUNCRACKERS, COMING BACK LIKE A SONG and NUNSENSE. Theatre Winter Haven will always remember this extraordinary woman and her generous heart.

Polk Vision

In 2004, citizens from across Polk County, led by private, public and civic leaders, joined forces to address critical issues facing our community and to develop a common purpose. Focus groups, town hall meetings and task forces were engaged in a nine-month process to gain insight into the priorities that unite and challenge our community. Together we examined our strengths and weaknesses, and developed a long-term vision with strategic solutions and countywide benchmarks. The strategies were adopted by public and private organizations, large and small, with a common goal to create our desired future.

Over the years, Polk Vision has remained vital and relevant through the continued engagement of citizens by conducting public meetings, forums and roundtable sessions. A formal “refresh” of the Vision was performed in 2010 which resulted in updated strategies and adjusted benchmarks. In the fall of 2014, with the encouragement of visionary supporters, we became members of the national collective impact organization Alignment USA. Through this relationship, we have integrated new structure, process and technology with the Polk Vision founding principles and areas of focus.

Today Polk Vision is the LEADing collective impact organization serving the entire Polk County community. We provide central coordination to align the work of hundreds of dedicated volunteers through partnerships of public, private and civic organizations working collectively to make the shared vision of improved community prosperity for Polk County a reality!
